West Coast Outdoor Adventure has everything you need to explore the year round stunning location of Sooke, BC.

On a fast and stable foot powered Hobie kayak you can photograph the abundant wildlife with ease, explore the spectacular coastline or maybe catch a salmon for supper*!

For the more adventurous you can do all of above on a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP). With our qualified instruction even 1st timers will be confidently gliding along the water – and peering down into the clear waters at a world full of wonder and surprises. The more experienced can take on the surf waves that frequent our rugged outer coastline!

Our bikes are ideally suited for the famous 56km “Galloping Goose” converted railway trail, but also able to take on some of the challenging terrain that BC known the world over for!

    The West Coast Trail is a world renowned backpacking trail. Open from May 1st until September 30th, this gruelling 75 km (47 mi) trek is well worth the challenge for the breathtaking examples of the West Coast of Vancouver Island.

    Discover the raw beauty and uncharted nature of the CRD. From seasoned backpackers to amateur day hikers you can traverse up to the tallest peaks and back down to the rocky shores of the Juan de Fuca by hiking historical trails.
